We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "George"
saying something like:

You should have DIY'd it !
Simon.

I would have done but this was done by the council as part of an urban
regenration to those who required to have it done ie FREE.
But it seems alls they're giving is bloody shoddy workanship and

fu**ing
heartache to the residents of the properties they are allocating the
work
to.

So you're getting it done for nothing and still moaning? You ungrateful
****.

Hah! a bloke with a chip on his shoulder were bad workmen are
concerned...you one of these unskilled workers?

The work carried out was soul destroying ie damage to the property, are

you
saying I shouldn't grumble when they send the painters in to paint the
front
of the house and then send the DG fitters in and the roofers later.
ff's the paint work is now destroyed after the forementioned two trades
have
done their crap jobs.
What builder in their right mind would send in the painters first

kowingly
there's going to be construction work carried out soon after?

err, so it wasn't the workmen but local council management?

Nope, the council drafted in an agency, the agency drafted in a builder, the
builder drafted in the painters,DG company, roofers ie the builder was
resposible for allocating the work out.
