Default bond ceramic to concrete ??

epoxy mortar sounds like the bests bet, or straight epoxy with filler,
or polyester with filler aka 'car body filler';-)


But surely even slight differential contraction/expansion is likely to
result in cracked tray if bonded with such substances? I would have
thought it worth considering some form of silicone.
