I'm conflicted.

It sounds like very forward thinking to me. *The problem is that
there are too many people on the planet to make it sustainable. *More
guns on the street should cut down on the population and those that
are left won't need to worry about saving electricity because there
will be plenty to go around. :-)

Side story: The original bill was for then energy-efficient stuff.
Republicans added the gun idea as a "poison pill." The amended version
passed unanimously.
