Nasty, particularly if there are similar fake versions of more popular
branks like MK about (which seem likely to happen if it hasn't already). I
guess one could test them fairly safely with appropriate loads from a car
or van battery.

On the plus side the MG brand seems to be fitted quite frequently on the
Pikey Camps I have worked on. They like to supply their own parts to save
