Very nice - I like the detail on the face frames.

Did you spray the finish or brush it on? If you don't have an HVLP unit
and
are going to be building many more painted units I highly recommend one.
I started out just brushing my painted finishes and the addition of an
HVLP
unit was a godsend - both in terms of speed and quality of finish. Then
you can also start using pigmented lacquers as your topcoat - my preferred
"painted" finish.

Its rolled on except the bead and belly detail. The horizontal pieces are
bead and belly and the vertical are custom cut, cove with a thin kerf saw
cut about 5/8" from edges. Hard to see from picture. Yes I need to invest
in a HVLP. Can you spray latex or is lacquer about it. I'm sure spraying
lacquer is more preferred anyway. What about primers and sealer? I need to
read much more about painted finishes.
