Modern diesels don't pour out filth and they need not be noisy

A neighbour of mine designed the injection systems of the Renault range of
diesel engines. He said they are more complex than petrol and still
dirtier. Filth, yes filth.

Tell your neighbour to get a new job and leave the difficult stuff to people
that know what they are doing.
