This HP 4MP prints nicely. Intermittently the paper will jam in the
following position:

The paper never jams if it is fed through the manual slot. I have
exchanged
the oblique roller with one from a working machine and it still jams
intermittently. When the jam does occur, the paper is always stopped in
the
same position. There are no unusual noises that accompany the jam. Any
ideas
as to the solution to this?

Try installing a repair kit. It contains the rubbers and gears to
service the paper pathway. They are available online at several places.

I've not been able to find a replacement roller assembly. This is the black
rubber roller that feeds the paper into the machine once it has been picked
up by the oblique roller. I tried reconditioning it with some rubber
rejuvenator but it didn't help. I'm going to swap the entire pickup assembly
with my other machine to see if the problem lies in this neighborhood.
Thanks for your reply.
