Of course it's a crime, but even if there is no property damage. Blocking
the street is a crime. Anyone who commits civil disobedience has to accept
the punishment for whatever they did, because if their cause is important
enough to break the law then it's important enough to suffer for. Accepting
the punishment is supposed to be part of that process, and it was always
considered so by people who committed civil disobedience (until the great
dumbing down that followed the 60's generation's rise to authority).
Otherwise they would undermine the rule of law in general.
