Default gas fireplace logs

I'm looking for LP logs as I'm converting a wood fireplace to gas. I don't
want to spend more than $200 and know nothing about logs.

I found on ebay 2 sets...
Rasmussen Burner (Part Number: B24FA/LP logs part number: S286) and
Surefire.

What I like about the Surefire is that is says:
"Typically when you purchase a Gas Log Set you must choose between the more
realistic VENTED Sets or the more heat efficient VENT-FREE Sets. With the
Surefire "Charred Oak" Set you can have the best of both. Most vented Gas
Logs are made of ceramic refractory. The Surefire "Charred Oak" logs are
made of ceramic fiber. The charred ceramic fiber logs utilize the latest
technology to produce a glowing effect that generates abundant radiant heat.
Now you can have all the heat you need combined with the realistic
appearance of a wood burning fire in a VENTED SET! " Since I know nothing
about gas logs this sounds good to me, but what do I know...

The description for the Rasmussen says:
"this does not include the valve assembly, which allows you to chose your
own, based on your own liking, it can be used with key turn match light
valve, (if you would like this I will include one no charge) or a manual
control valve with pilot, or a remote, thermostatic, or switch control
valve". I have no idea what this means.

I don't know if Lowe's has this in stock any more but my sister-in-law got
it at a closeout price.
Comfort Glow®
24" Royal English Oak Vent-Free Gas Logs
Item #: 83244 Model: CLD3924PTB
I have no idea what this means.

When we get the fireplace replaced it will be use a LOT for heat, not
atmosphere.

Thanks for any help!!
