When that was written, women had the legal status of children. Although
the Nineteenth Amendment specifies only voting rights, it has been held
to include qualification for elected office, so there have been no
challenges to female candidates for Congress based on the masculine
pronouns in Article I. Any attempt to challenge Hillary's elegibility
based on Article II would be as silly as the attempt to paint Obama as a
crypto-Muslim, and would probably result in the quickest Supreme Court
ruling in US history.
