Default Sony KV36XBR400 intermittent HV.

About a half dozen possibilities come to mind. The first would be IC8002,
IIRC, the MCZ3001 regulator controller. Also, there are a couple of
resistors and caps that open up that can be problems, bad FBT, drifting in
the HV protect circuit, 9v regulator with bad solder joints, etc.

Do you subscribe to any tips databases or online forums for repair help?
Have you even just googled the problem?

I strongly suggest you join a group like TechAssist or NESDANET or TechData,
and get a tips program like WinsTips. For as little as $50 a year you can
have access to lots more information without having to have someone else
look it up for you.

This set came in with a complaint of no picture. The first time I
tried it except for being in need of a slight Hor. stat and focus
adjustment it came right on. The next time I tried it it had filament
but no HV. Brfore I pull the D board out, does anyone have any
thoughts on this repair? Thanks, Lenny.
