https://www.dtv2009.gov/VendorSearch.aspx is supposed to show you any
retailer who has them in stock. Best Buy and Radio Shack also claim to
have them in some stores, but none in my area. You can search up to 50
miles from your zip code or city. The fact that a retailer has them in
the first couple stores doesn't mean anything, if they aren't at your
local store.

Well, don't know how far away you consider your area, but best buy in
Sanford has them. I saw them 3 days ago.

That is probably over the 50 mile range for their zip code search.
I've checked online, and with local stores and found nothing. There is
just a trickle so far and not all stores get them, or have them long
enough to find them so far. A lot of people are complaining, because
they were supposed to be readily available by now.

Iff topic, but I was in Walmart one day, and I usually try to avoid the place.
As I was walking in I noticed how many TV cameras they had on the top
of the building. Probably at least 20. I also noticed all the cameras inside.
Probably add another 100. I think Wal-Mart has more cameras than
Vegas casinos !
