Hello Kip,

Mildred and I spent 30 days in New Zealand in March/April 2004. I set
up a woodturning tour ahead of time. We attended the Turangi Jamboree,
which was great fun, then on down to the South Island and drove around
the West side down to the very tip then back up to ChristChurch and
then flew back to the North Island for a few more days. I did 13 or 14
demonstrations in that 30 days and met some wonderful people. I also
did a CD on the trip for our family and friends. On the CD was a story
about our trip in PDF format. If it would help you plan your trip, I
could perhaps e-mail the story to you. It was a wonderful experience
and, I believe, if we hadn't had ties at home, we could probably have
just stayed there for the rest of our lives.
