I see you are with ntl, so am I and I can't get into Darrel's site. If
I log into a remote computer and then to the site I have no problems so
it can't be my computer settings.

Myself and someone else had similar problems last year and we were both
using Virgin Media. I asked for help on a Virgin newsgroup and was given
advice which helped. You need to change the proxy setting in your
internet options.
I set it to "webcache.blueyonder.co.uk" on port 3128

I found that this helped but slowed down other web sites:-(

It was also recommended that I use OpenDNS which I tried but no longer use.
