Whether Paul wins is irrelevant to the Ronulans; it's the membership in the
movement that's important. To the True Believer, participation in their Holy
Cause takes their mind off their own meaningless affairs and gives purpose
and direction to their empty lives.

This syndrome is easilty detectable when you notice that the membership in
mass movements is interchangable. Whether it's Ron Paul, save the whales,
hug a tree, or eliminating soda pop in high schools, it is the participation
in something larger than themselves that's the attraction. Often these
deluded people belong to many such groups simultaneously - so they'll have
something to occupy their time every night of the week.

Pitiful, really.
