Not really. Miloseviç made Clinton look like a fool in Bosnia, while the
Serbs slaughtered the Muslims there. Clinton had had enough of Milosevic
making him look like a fool when the problem of Kosovo rolled around
and, he hammered their infrastructure.
Afghanistan is more difficult because it has a lot less infrastructure.
Afghanistan is attractive because of a proposed oil pipeline that we
would like to lay through it.
