Do they have automatic-shut-off light switches I can simply remove and
replace my existing standard light switches is? Are they inexpensive
enough
to be practical?


You must have kids living at home !

Ours didn't realize that switches had an "OFF" position
until they moved out and started paying their own electric bill.
