Paint one wall slopping over a bit to adjacent. Let dry, tape that
wall,


Seems to me that this step

paint over the taped edge to adjacent wall with same paint and
let dry to seal edge.


isn't necessary. What's the purpose?

Paint second wall, remove tape.
