Might be a slightly different approach to a sock-donning helper than the

Finally! That's what it is. Right now I'm not allowed to raise my
knee above my waist nor cross my left leg over my right, so I slip a
sock over the plastic tube, then pull the ropes.


I was thinking about that, too, but then I figured it to be too clumsy a
tool for that. When my back gave out I just used the fireplace tongues
for the same purpose. Of course after a thorough cleaning. Was poifect.

Then again Arizonians probably don't know what a fireplace is, let alone
fireplace tools ...
