trying to repair RCA VR688HF VCR (because stand-alone VCRs
apparently are not manufactured/sold anymore), have reviewed
most of VCR repair FAQs, done most of things suggested there
except replace components in power supply, VCR still has
symptom of erratic behavior.

found 5 caps questionable in PS with power on, scrounged
duplicates for 4, have not found a cap substitution FAQ. the
5th cap is 100mf/200v.

question: if i substitute a 560mf/200v for the questionable
100mf/200v, would this cause damage or just better filtering?
