How thick is that top ? Is there any other support under the top in the
middle (not that it needs it) ? Looks like you elected to put two pencil
drawers on the side extension, rather than the one on the main desk,
correct ? Is the left side pedastal available for a computer ? Will the
front get a modesty panel or will it be open ?

Top is 7/8" thick, everything is in solid Walnut except drawer bottoms .

The top is a separate entity and just sits on the pedestals. it is
structurally complete on it's own.

there are two pencil drawers in the side piece and two in the desk top .In
addition there is a slide out panel above the desk rightpencil drawer.

Not quite sure what a modesty panel is [sounds interesting though] .The
customer is undecided what she wants there ,my suggestion is a door with
false drawer fronts matching the right side
