Swelling is a local reaction, yes it's painful (I have the same thing by the
way) but it means that you're not going to suffer a general reaction (often
called an allergy) which is far, far worse. And very rare I might add.

That what happens to me and I suffer for days - I kill the beggars as soon
as they get near me.

Even if they haven't stung you? That's a bit silly. Might as well blow up
all cars because you might be run over, or shoot all dogs because they might
bite you, and as for humans ...
