my projector (TV) got zapped by lightning last night and i

elimination to see which one it is.

If one was destroyed it should be apparent. Alternately have you
measured to see if the listed voltages (or close)are present? i.e.

+385v
+3.3v
+5v
+13

maybe if i can identify which one of the regulator go with
what voltage circuit, i can fiqure out what the 4th one is
and find a suitible replacement. the busted regulator is one
of the 2 smaller regulators.

How can you possibly tell? Ouija board?

Maybe if you were to post some pictures of the whole board and close ups
of the board and the parts in question.

Some other usefull information would be make model number, actual
symptoms of the tv (for example shooting sparks out the back, blown fuse,
etc) Things like this might get you some help. Otherwise you could just
look up the part numbers for yourself or buy schematics/service manual
for it...
