Default CFLs - switching on and off

Unless you have one of those pesky CFLs that take 10 mins to achieve a
worthwhile light output! ;-)

I've got some that take 1-2 mins to warm up, but if they've only been
off a few minutes they come back on at nearly full brightness. Several
different makes too.
