I think both Sirius and XM are run by MBAs who are so addicted to "growth at
all costs" that they engage in incredibly risky ventures, such as Sirius
paying Howard Stern $500 MILLION for a 5 year deal (although kudos to Stern's
lawyer or whoever brokered that deal for *him*!

I'll bet he never sees it, and it WAS and IS contingent on
subscriber growth numbers, which fell on their face despite the
addition of the lame ****.

He probably hasn't even seen 10M of it yet, and likely won't see
much more than that, since it IS taking a turn downward.

He'll certainly never see the 500M because the contingency was
growth over the first three years which vaporized.
