I think both Sirius and XM are run by MBAs who are so addicted to "growth at
all costs" that they engage in incredibly risky ventures, such as Sirius
paying Howard Stern $500 MILLION for a 5 year deal



That is the big that reason I won't subscribe. If they can throw
money away like that, they don't need any more from me. I get a nice
country music stream online for free. I'm home over 95% of the time
because of my health, and I didn't have to buy a receiver, or set up a
subscription.

Personally, I don't think Howard Stern's juvenile crap is worth a
dollar a decade, although he sounds like he'd be Passive DingDong's
hero.
