You are being patronizing. Furthermore, you haven't bothered to
actually READ my message. What you are suggesting is
EXACTLY what I did -- i.e. post a link to a place where the
actual picture could be seen. It's petty to quibble that the
"place where the actual picture could be seen" happens to be labeled
"garden" rather than some "free picture hosting" site.

Nope. You posted a picture (if I'm understanding your posts correctly) to
a
newsgroup that allowed binaries. Then you posted a link to the newsgroup
that contained your picture.

A newsgroup is not a website. A newsgroup does not have a URL. You were
asking those who might want to view your picture to rummage through
postings
on a newsgroup to find your photo.

There is some cognitive dissonance going on here.

I fail to see how much "rummaging" would be required to find my photo.

The original posting to the NG has a Subject line.

To find that Subject on a binary picture group,go to the group,
hit "Find", type in the Subject line, and bingo, you go straight to
the desired photo (or, on an ordinary NG, to the desired Message).

No pain, no strain, no imposition.

You are welcome to post an image to the site in my sig line and post the
link here. I pretty much made the site for this purpose though it has not
worked out all that well.
