I have a 55 inch sony projection LCD. After being on for a minute or

the TV goes into standby mode (lamp and sound goes out, power light
flashes) for about 20 seconds, than the picture and sound come back
on. After a minute the cycle starts again.

I have been told mostly likely the lamp is heating up and getting
ready to go bad.


Does anyone have any advice for me.
