Why not simply ask a razor blade engineer how THEY measure sharpness?

I did spend some time searching. I could not find a trade group
with a close-enough specific focus.

As far as I can tell, most of the blades sold in the USA
(including the multi ones) are sourced from Korea.



I am very open to corrections on both points.
