Default Where to buy surface mount technology (SMT) component kits

In article . com,
(known to some as ) scribed...

Could someone suggest a good source for surface mount technology (SMT)
component kits. I'd like to have a selection of resistors, ceramic
capacitors, diodes, etc. for repair and future projects.

Mouser, DigiKey, Allied, Jameco... you name it. Just about any
electronics distributor worth their salt is going to have any number of
SMD's available in their inventory. Most of the 'New Stock' ones have
the kits/assortments you decribe.

If you don't mind piecing together your own kits, and want to save
some $$, surplus places (like ACE Component in San Jose, CA) can also be
of great help.

Happy hunting.
