We have had a Liebherr for several years now. Well built, VERY quiet
in operation - the main reason for which we purchased. I'm not sure
whether or not it is 'frost free'. I think not - it certainly
requires a manual defrosting every 15 months or so. No problems with
it. Having said that the old comet own label (Proline) we had
previously for about 16 years worked perfectly throughout (albeit a
little noisily) and only had to have its handle refitted in a slightly
different position every 4 years when it managed to break off again!
