Does anyone know of a chemical method of smoothing out the inside of a
toilet
trap? *I have 3 almost identical toilets and most suffer from too small
opening
through the porcelain. *Recently, one developed the ability to catch
toilet paper
and hold it in place. *I am guessing the finish has gotten rough.

what kind of toilets are they?

They are American Standard, one piece,
elongated bowl, with a name
that started with "H". *But it is not
any of the current models. *These were
purchased about 8 - 10 years ago. *The
oldest 2 were a different model
name .... the newest one (different
model name) it only slightly better than
the others. *These are terrible products
and I'm glad to see they don't offer
them any more.

take a look at water level in tank, the earliest version of the water
savers dropped the water level a lot, but otherwise were regular
units.

on these you can increase the level of the water and improve things a
lot
