years ago I used alcohol as a cleaner at work in bare hands, tough on
hands in winter my hands would crack.

When it got bad I would lather my hands with cream, put on those
rubber gloves at bedtime. uncomfy but you get used to it, better than
bleeding hands.

I dont use goves for much of anything
