Default RCA CTC177

Yes....based on the original symptoms corrupted data in the EPROM is
certainly suspect BUT the grounds connections resoldering in and around the
OBT (on board tuner) is a very FIRST procedure so if the EPROM is replaced,
the new one won't get corrupted. A full tuner alignment must be done or if
good EPROM data cam be downloaded with the Chipper Checker the job will be
much easier and less time consuming.
Yes... there is "voluminous" and very good material in the FAQ.

Hi!
I have this 177chzssis that has a good picture on all the channels
except 14 to 18 and 34 to51, I did the solder job but it didn't do
any good, what else can I do?
Thank youi
Vince

Did you read the voluminous material in the faq?

I don't understand why no one mentioned the EEPROM. I must be wrong, but

I
thought your symptom was due to the channel preset data getting corrupted.
