Default Viewsonic n3250w LCD goes into unwanted standby mode

I work at a school that has 2 Viewsonic n3250w LCD monitors in the
main lobby for announcements, etc. One of them, after being on for a
little more than 1hr will go into a "standby" mode. The audio will go
off and the screen will go almost completely dim, you can still see
the picture, but barely. I have gone through the menus and find no
setting for this or any way to turn it off. The strange thing is that
the other LCD display has never had this issue.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions on how to resolve
it?

Thanks.

I also have this problem with my n3250w - ANY input (PC, tuner, A/V,
etc.) will just quit after 1-2 hours.

The audio pops, the screen goes blank, and the remote will not work.
Only turning the unit off at the set button, then turning it back on
works (only for an hour or so more, then repeat).

It seems like it's overheating or something. Anyone have any ideas?

I can confirm that this problem is NOT power management.
