That's true for a lot of things.

I'm in favor of one more law.
It should be that all politicians and their immediate families shall
endure the consequences of any new laws they write for a period of 10
years, even when they are out of office, then at the end of the 10 year
period they must vote on whether said law(s) should be levied on the
public at large.
I bet there'd be a whole lot less silly laws being written......


That should apply to wars, especially. George Bush's daughters should've
been the first soldiers to be put in the most dangerous jobs in Iraq,
minus the same safety equipment the government still cannot provide enough
of for our soldiers. Same for the children and grandchildren of every
elected slob who voted for this war. Into uniform, at gunpoint if
necessary, and right into the streets of Baghdad with all of them.

Agreed, with one caveat.
Bush & Cheney and their wives would stand in front of their children.
