Recently I bought A little 110 volt jack hammer at Harbor Freight for
$400 (The Bosch was $1400.) because I know I will use it only a few
times a year.

And to my surprise it works pretty well.


I have both the HF jack and rotary hammers and its a work horse for the past
couple of years for the active DIYer. It's not as pretty (fit and finish
that is) as the name brand tools but works really well and cheaper than
renting.
