Why? There's no economic or technical incentive to do so,
and there's a *huge* political cost to be paid if one tries
to do so. This is hardly likely to change in the near
future.


That's Ok. The era of cheap oil isn't over yet. People are
still willing to trade blood for oil. But when the era of cheap
oil does end, and people are shivering in the dark, their
view of nuclear power may become more enlightened.
Or not. In the latter case, most of them will die.
