Default Basic DC electricity question

(Doug Miller) writes:

Mostly, you don't get electrocuted from a car battery because it's DC.

Oh? Try grabbing the main battery terminals of a hybrid gas-electric
car. It's DC, at several hundred volts. You won't like it.

Actually, don't try it. You might not be able to let go, and you might
die.
