Such a fan (GX9) fitted in kitchen. An ugly site protruding off the
wall into the kitchen. It is on the blink, stays on for about 5 minutes
only, shutters do not open . Time to go.
I would like a replacement to fit into the cavity and the shutters
flush with the wall. Is it possible to do such a relplacement ? Would
other, cheaper fans (vent axia ) fit. Would the electrical connections
be compatable..? Do I need a specialist electrician to fit?
The present one is operation via a switch next to the lighting switch
on the kitchen wall.
Any help would be appreciated
