I need to make some square ( approx. 50*100 mm ) and round ( approx. 75mm
diameter ) holes in either 2 mm steel or 3 mm aluminum
DAM that's a funny size Square!! Greenlee makes a RECTANGULAR punch 46X92mm
( pt # 60068 ) and it will punch 3.5mm steel but in that size requires a
hydraulic punch driver for use on that thick of material. The round is not
a problem, they will also make you a custom size punch if you need exactly
50X100 but I bet they are $$$$$

Hey Peter,
You left out a bit of important information. How many, and how
accurate in size and location shape?
Well I dont need it a 100% perfect fit, but I do need to be able to mount
DIN rail GFCI and fuseblocks thru the holes, while keeping a good
appearance, so I am thinking up to 1 mm oversize will be OK..
Would a nibbler do?
You tell me :-)... Sheet is either 2mm steel or 3 mm aluminum..
