Default How to Apply the Last Coat of Poly for a Dining Table Top?

Have you considered a wipe-on poly? Try thinning your poly 50/50 and
wiping it on with a lint-free rag or paper towel. The goal is a VERY
thin rubbed-in coat, almost like an oil finish.
