Maybe it is because I live near a major fireworks company that has
produced many award winning shows over the years. And maybe because I
know the owner. And maybe because I've seen the results of "it'll be
OK".

There are reasons why things are done the way they are.

But as I already posted, digital may be the answer--but at what cost?
