Are they electric mirrors? Or adjustable from inside the car? If so the
mirror is on a plastic frame which is just clipped to the pivot or motor
mechanism. Run it fully in one direction and lever off with a screwdriver,
then go to the other direction and do the same. The plastic frame is just
glued to the mirror with double sided tape or similar and can be removed.
So if Halfords do an identical size one you can glue that to the frame.
You might even be able to change over the heater element - although it's
unlikely this still works. ;-)
