Lincoln/Mercury is a brand. You know it's a division of Ford. Pontiac is
a brand. You know it's a division of GM. Oldsmobile? I think they used
to be a division of GM. They were definitely a brand.
For Kenmore to be a brand, Kenmore would have to manufacture appliances,
OR that they would have to be a division of a company that does
manufacture appliances*. Neither is true. -Dave
