Hey, the mailbox thread. snip That was about the first extended flame
war thread I remember snip

Flame war? I remember it as a pleasent intellectual discussion and
exchange of techniques and thoughts.

I ran over my own mailbox something like 20 years ago - flattening
it - and have gotten my mail at the post office ever since. It gets me
out of the house every day and also lets me get my mail several hours
sooner than home delivery would.
