Default home plumbing repair w/epoxy coating

just watched a very interesting video of a method used in europe for some 20 year and
now spreading into large multistory apartment buildings. they use a videoscope and
without breaking existing plumbing lines, coat the insides of the lines with an epoxy
type (not sure of the material)

is this method known and in use in the usa? what's it called?

they calculated costs vs. the traditional method of ripping everything open and it was
less than half the cost but just as strong and insurance companies had approved it
from a liability standpoint (think moisture damage in wet spaces in buildings with 100
people)
