Robert, and I have a few areas I could test that on. Your knowledge of
the staining oils is impressive, and I only wish I had that 2 weeks
ago. Well, live and learn.

As for a floor buffer, ironically I had one yesterday with a sanding
attachment. Of course my attempts to sand it down were useless, but I
didn't try buffing it out. Perhaps I will just have to break down and
rent the machine again if the buffing will work.
