The OP stated a "vertical line" but we all know that "they" usually mean to
say a horizontal line..... I am certain that is why David replied with the
vertical deflection answer... a much more common problem.
Anyway...... so, I agree with your question to the OP..... which is it?
Vertical or Horizontal??
