Then block off the *chimney*, just above the fireplace, and leave the
fireplace as a feature. Because you will no longer be able to use the
fire, you can also block the vent.

newsreader, say Agent, and a newsserver, say news.individual.net. These
will allow them: to see only *new* posts, a killfile, and other goodies.
